Founded in 2006, The JBL Group was created from the merger of two of Canada’s prominent healthcare consultancies, JBL & Associates and The Glenn Group. Over the years, we have grown to number 17 professionals across Canada, served some 150 different clients and worked on over 600 projects, making us the leading consulting firm of our type in the country.

Our projects have covered all major pharmaceutical prescription and non-prescription therapeutic categories as well as diagnostics and medical devices. 

We have also worked with a variety of health care organizations, including patient groups, professional and industry associations and championed treatments for rare diseases.

Projects have included full Product Submissions to the Common Drug Review, INESSS, pCODR, provincial drug plans and private payers. We have also completed Financial-Impact Analyses, Market Access Strategic Plans and Reimbursement Strategy development for both new and existing products and at the provincial and federal levels. The JBL Group has experience with the new Pan-Canadian Pricing Alliance (PCPA) and in guiding clients to successfully negotiate Product Listing Agreements (PLAs). 

We have negotiated price increases for individual companies and associations. In addition, our consultants have acted as facilitators between the industry and the government, as well as between individual manufacturers and - as experts in that domain - they are frequently invited to participate in industry forums.
